The game's executive producer Rod Fergusson already established the possibility of post-launch support of Diablo 4. stating that cross-platform play may be added to the game. If there is a possibility for support post-launch already in place, an emergency patch should be no problem.
Fans have been waiting to the release of Diablo II: Diablo 4 and the game's problems with servers are viewed by many as a slap in the face.
