A major bug from MTG Arena prevents progress before the release of the new set

Since its launch in 2018, Magic The Gathering: Arena has become a giant of the world of Esport. By offering the first and oldest collection card game, Magic: The Gathering, an easy-to-understand online customer, Arena was Wizards of the Coast's first successful attempt to bring the free model to MTG. Now, with the release of the last set of new Innistrad cards: Midnight Hunt later this week, a major bug made that several leading players have suddenly lost their status - and many others find themselves unable to progress at all.

The bug was reported for the first time in Wizards of the Coast on August 30, and it seems that things have just worse since. Initially, it seemed to be a simple case reset once players reached Mythic, the highest rank available in the Arena classified game system. However, it quickly became clear that there was a little more - after the reset, users reported not to be able to progress in any way, ending up stuck at the beginner level 0.

So far, Wizards of the Coast made no statement about the problem, although it was lived by many users and this weekend marking one of the biggest events of the year MTG - the pre-release of the next set on the theme of the Loup-Garou. , Innistrad: midnight hunting.

Midnight Hunt is not only the biggest exit of Werewolf cards we have ever seen, but it's also a return to one of the most popular scenery of MTG - The Land of Horror of Innistrad. It will be a big weekend for the Arena players who hope to take ahead of the new meta - hoping that Wizards of the Coast will endeavor to correct the revolutionary bug before that date.

Innistrad: Midnight Hunt will be released on MTG Arena on September 16th, with physical pre-outputs starting on 17 and a complete physical output on the 24th.
